JOHN GOT A HEART AND HE’S IN SURGERY!!!
This is a huge answer to prayer and blessing! We prayed for this weekend – as soon as he could receive a heart! Also, our families are here and John’s friends are coming up tonight. That was already planned! God knew the perfect timing!
John needs HUGE prayer right now!! Please continue to pray! The surgery will take 5-8 hours.
Please pray for:
1. Wisdom for the surgeons, doctors, and nurses. Pray that Jesus is guiding their every move.
2. There are no complications to John’s surgery. That everything goes smoothly. That he does not have a stroke or excess bleeding.
3. John wakes up after surgery.
4. John comes out of the sedation well and that he has no damage to his other organs or his neurological system.
5. John’s recovery is fast and smooth. That there are no more complications there.
6. God continues to be glorified throughout this process.
7. That we never take this gift for granted and that John and I will continue on with our lives for many years serving God.
*** And an extra special prayer for John’s heart donor’s family. They are grieving right now and need to be lifted up in prayer that God will give them comfort, peace, and love during this difficult time. That they know how very appreciative we are for their donation.
