Okay, so summer is here! Our lives might be winding down a bit, but we don’t want our relationship with Jesus to wind down with it! Let’s stay in the Word this summer and learn to replace those lies we keep believing season after season with God’s Truth!

This summer, from May 28th to July 30th, I’m hosting an online Bible study right here! We’ll read the book Lies Women Believe by Nancy Leigh DeMoss and discuss it in a private Facebook group.

This online Bible study is primarily for single women. However, I truly believe that single and married women can and should be in small groups together to learn from one another. So if you have a heart for single women or if you are married and really feel like this Bible study is what you need right now, please join us! We’re not going to exclude anyone! 

This is how it’ll work:

1. First of all, I highly recommend like a million times over, for you to get together your own in-real-life group of friends, single and/or married, and meet once a week and do this study together with them as you do it with us online. All of you can join the online Facebook group, but as you know (and I preach!) nothing replaces in-real-life relationships! Be bold, pray hard, and ask God to give you the courage and show you who you can invite!

2. I recommend you purchase the book Lies Women Believe because your study of scripture will be deeper and you will gain more understanding if you read along with us. However, you do not need to purchase the book to participate. Each week I will post scripture readings and questions for the week here on the blog and in the private Facebook group.

3. You will check into our Facebook group throughout the week and participate by posting comments and questions and discussing the book and scriptures with the other members. The more you put into it, the more you will get out of it!

4. Typically we will read one chapter a week of the book. There will be a few weeks where we read two chapters.

5. We won’t start until May 28th, but I’m inviting you to the study now so that you can have time to purchase your book.

6. You can go ahead and RSVP by joining the Facebook group. I will keep you up-to-date over the next few weeks, but remember that we won’t officially start until May 28th.

I think you’re going to love this study. I did it many, many years ago (like 12 years ago, I think), and it truly opened my eyes to the lies I believe about God, myself, and the world. However, in typical fashion, I need a refresher!
