You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. Genesis 50:20
Not too long ago as a new bride, my husband who God blessed me with after years of asking, grew weaker from his battle with Cardiomyopathy.
As his days became more laborious and his nights became more uncertain, he went into the hospital to wait for a heart transplant. There he experienced the unexpected: a staph infection, a heart that stopped, life support, transplantation, and after it all a period of unresponsiveness.
But as the days of my life became stagnant, God became alive in me. He gave me each breath, took each step, and said each word. I experienced his supernatural peace – the kind He promises – and now I know that it is real.
This is the story of God’s supernatural peace. A testament that miracles do still happen. The proof that He uses all things for His glory.
John lives today. But only to fulfill His purposes. Life or death it does not matter. I will praise Him always.
