We’re Going Home Today!!!!!!
Today is the big day, the big homecoming! We’re waiting for John to have a few more things taken out, like his IV picc and dialysis catheter, and then will be on our way!!
Last night John said, “I feel like it’s Christmas Eve!” That perfectly sums up the excitement we are feeling!!! Today is the biggest gift we could ever have asked for or imagined. The gift of life – more life – here on earth to enjoy everybody and everything John loves so much and for us to enjoy him!!!
Wow!!! I’m speechless!
The first thing John says he’s going to do is, of course, take a shower! Then he says he might just stare outside at the yard and take it all in. Our first home cooked meal will be tacos. We decided on that this morning!
