Big Changes for Triple Braided {Plus Some New Contributors!}

Hey Friends! I hope your new year is off to a great start!

Remember, “But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:13-14).” What’s done is done! And because of Jesus whatever was done that wasn’t righteous, you are forgiven! So look forward into this new year with your eyes on the One who truly matters!

Big Changes at Triple Braided

And that’s what I’m doing here with this blog – I’m looking forward! After much prayer, I’ve decided to add some regular contributors to Triple Braided. This comes mainly after the wonderful response from the 31 Days of Interviews with Single Women series.

Let’s be honest. I’ve been in your shoes. I know what you’re going through and struggling with as a single woman. I wish, oh how I wish, someone was in my life to speak truth to me. But there just wasn’t. Well, that, and I probably wasn’t a good listener either. So I write here because I don’t want other women, you all, to not have the truth. Because in years to come, if you don’t have the truth, you will be living with a lot of regret.

So I think I can help you all in a lot of ways (Regardless of the fact that I’m knocking on 40’s door. I just keep pushing that small detail out of my mind!). But I also know what many of you are thinking – because I thought the same thing about married women when I was single – “You’re married now! It’s easy for YOU to say!” That was evident by how much you loved the interview series.

So I have asked four women – single women – to come alongside me and write for Triple Braided. You are going to love these women! They’re different ages and have different stories and even live on different continents! How great is the internet! And they are going to be able to speak directly to you from where you are because they are there, too.

I can’t wait to introduce them! I’m going to do that in the next few weeks, so keep a look out here and on the Facebook page. They will start posting in February.

With that said, I also have a new blog that pretty much for me to write anything I want. I’ve done that some here, but I know that single women don’t necessarily care to hear about marriage and motherhood stuff. So I’m moving that sort of stuff over to my new site – BrendaHRodgers.com. I’d love for you to join me there!

I’m not sure what to do with the Facebook page yet. I’m not sure if I should make a new page for my other site or not. For right now, though, the two sites will be merged on that one page.

What do you think? Separate Facebook pages or combined?? Let me know in the comments!

Okay, I think that’s all for now! I can’t wait to serve you in 2015! Thank you so much for your encouragement and for your time reading. I love serving you!
