Ahhhh! How has your week been? Mine has been crazy busy! I hate saying that because it’s not supposed to be that way, but this week was one of those weeks. I’ve been cleaning out cabinets and drawers and you would not believe how much junk stuff I have. I mean three boxes of Arbonne products that have never been opened but are at least five years old. I’m so embarrassed! I’m actually not much of pack-rat compared to umm . . . my husband . . . but you wouldn’t have known it this week.

A Lot of Prayer

Anyway, you all have been on my mind and in my prayers despite the craziness. Recently I have developed a deep burden to pray for you daily and God has been diligent to bring each reader to my mind everyday. As the weekend draws near I want you to meditate on this verse. Maybe write it on an index card (or a few index cards) and tape them around your house and in your car. Why? Because one thing that God has placed on my heart recently is that we are in a battle! A serious battle with the enemy, and the only way to stand victorious is by putting on His full armor and especially the sword of the Spirit -the Word of God. I don’t like to dwell on the enemy because he doesn’t deserve any more face time than he’s already getting, but I know it’s also important to not grow complacent. I see it around me. I see it in the words I read from all of you through emails and Facebook. I see it in other blog posts I read. Sweet friends, this weekend use that sword!
